Slide projection as an artistic medium

What is so interesting about slide technology - popular in the 70s and 80s, cut down by digital media in the 90s and going obsolete in the last few years? Why do artists decide to hold on to this technology in their work? How do they face obsolescence? Brigitte Kölle in conversation with Tris Vonna-Michell und Geert Goiris.
After the talk visitors will be allowed to view the slide-based works of art from the collection, which are temporarily installed backstage for research purposes.
