Education and Communication: Multimedia Guide

Modern multimedia guides for the collection and the special exhibitions provide our audiences with more in-depth information on individual artworks, by means of comparative images, historical documents or photographs and animations. The 60-minute  »highlights tour« is designed to offer an overview over the Hamburger Kunsthalle’s permanent collection. The two-hour tour in German or English provides the visitor with additional details and descriptive commentaries. The 20-minute tour in German for children from the age of eight onwards features lively explanations and entertaining stories about the artworks. The hand-held devices have high-resolution touch display and are extremely easy to handle. During opening hours, they are available at the ticket desk for 4 Euro.
