"My video from the 1970's invloved a closed circuit set up
whereby I performed to the live image on the monitor and not to
the camera. I could be looking at myself in profile at the same
time as the recording. I am attentive to the closed mirrorlike nature
of video...the almost mesmerizing effect of the image in the monitor
