International youth exchanges

Internationaler Jugendaustausch

Use foreign languages, experience other cultures, get to know young people from other countries and collaborate with them artistically. Art brings people together – which is why we organize an exchange with an international museum (almost) every year.
Past destinations have included St. Petersburg, Paris, Palermo, Dresden and Copenhagen. There are many things to see and discover in the museums and the local art scenes there. Host families provide accommodation, giving young people a chance to gain first-hand experience of everyday life in families; students find a fun and creative way to become better acquainted with other countries and customs.
In 2010, we took a trip to sister city St. Petersburg. Russian students came to Hamburg in 2011. Report by Inga and Lukas pdf
